He joined Roland Berger in 2011 and has since established a new practice in the Middle East focusing on sustainability and addressing the major problems concerning the environment and climate change.


Mr. Tohme is leading topics related to circular economy, effective waste management and climate change. He has successfully led transformative projects for governments and the private sector, with clear oversight on national Waste Management strategy development. He also supported government in achieving sustainability and net zero national targets.


Some of his key projects is to set up the national waste management champion in KSA, help governments restructure their waste sector such as Abu Dhabi and Uzbekistan and global initiatives around circular economy pertaining to waste and water.
Hani holds a bachelor’s in engineering and an EMBA from Columbia Business School, London Business School and Hong Kong University. Prior to consulting he gained hands on experience as an Engineer with the world’s leading oilfield services provider.
